Andy is Director of Strategy for Cubic Transportation Systems and has been at the company for more than five years. During this time he has overseen Cubic's global strategy, focusing on strategic partnerships with some of the world’s leading technology and software companies. Andy has also been pivotal in shaping Cubic's vision and solution for Mobility-as-a-Service, helping cities and transit agencies evaluate the potential benefits of integrated multi-modal transport options. Andy's passion is on working with user communities and transit agencies to educate them on the true benefits and impacts of Mobility-as-a-Service to ensure all stakeholders understand the impact that they can have on urban mobility through having pertinent data, improved operational performance and consolidated accounting solutions. He also sits on the MaaS Alliance Board of Directors.
Globally the conversation on MaaS has grown over the last few years, but the number of real world MaaS deployments where users are flocking to adopt MaaS Subscription models is limited. Why is this so? This presentation will delve into why this is the case, the future for MaaS, and a look at the opposing forces between the stakeholders that are preventing the wider adoption of MaaS. We look at the success of deployments to date, and look at what insights can be drawn from these to make for a successful roadmap for MaaS.
