Our transport systems are changing, to become net zero and using increasing levels of digitalisation to become more efficient and accessible. This change presents significant challenges and opportunities for all investing in delivering transport services and transport supply chains. Innovate UK has published an in-depth study that sets out what the UK transport system may look like in 2050 and outlines the likely steps along the way to achieving this. The vision has been created by our team which worked with many people in industry, government and beyond to develop a vision to stimulate innovation and debate.
