Our centre has current projects in all of the following areas: vehicle design and styling, vehicle electrification, structural optimisation and light-weighting, wireless sensing, vehicle dynamics and safety, aerospace engineering, control systems, cyber security and human systems integration.

ITS United Kingdom, the UK association for the promotion of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), is a not-for-profit public/private sector association financed by members’ subscriptions, and provides a forum for all organisations concerned with ITS. We work to bring the benefits that ITS can offer in terms of economic efficiency, transport safety, and environmental benefits to the United Kingdom – and at the same time expand the ITS market. The membership, over 160 organisations, comprises Government Departments, Local Authorities, Police Forces, consultants, manufacturing and service companies, and academic and research institutions. New members are always welcome and benefit from activities including seminars, workshops and regular news dissemination. The Mobility as a Service (MaaS) Alliance is a public-private partnership creating the foundations for a common approach to MaaS, unlocking the economies of scale needed for successful implementation and take-up of MaaS in Europe and beyond. The main goal is to facilitate a single, open market and full deployment of MaaS services.
