Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) is a collaborative, open source project at The Linux Foundation that is bringing together 110+ members including leading automakers, suppliers and technology companies to develop an open, shared software platform for connected car applications. Built from the ground up, the AGL platform can serve as the de facto industry standard to reduce fragmentation, decrease development times and enable rapid innovation of new products and technologies. AGL is the only organization planning to address all software in the vehicle, including including infotainment, instrument cluster, heads up display, telematics, functional safety, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving.

Future transport systems have a number of high level aims including ambitions to eliminate road fatalities, reduce congestion, to provide users with seamless integrated and connected transport systems, to eliminate emissions and to develop vehicles and systems that use lightweight, efficient and recycled materials.

From a holistic understanding of the behaviour of transport networks, Immense Simulations have created the first of a new generation of large-scale transport mobility simulators.
Immense’s persistent and predictive simulations deliver detailed and accurate pictures of the city-wide transport eco-system across multiple time horizons. Whilst these simulations are inherently complex, Immense have developed intuitive and accessible tools to facilitate enhanced strategic and operational decision-making across organisations.
Immense will enable the consortium to test and assess the commercial viability of multiple strategies using their city-wide ride-share simulations leading to optimum real world performance.

ITS United Kingdom, the UK association for the promotion of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), is a not-for-profit public/private sector association financed by members’ subscriptions, and provides a forum for all organisations concerned with ITS. We work to bring the benefits that ITS can offer in terms of economic efficiency, transport safety, and environmental benefits to the United Kingdom – and at the same time expand the ITS market.
